...weird science

I went to the Star Wars: Where Science meets Imagination exhibition at Scienceworks last weekend.

Couldn't see much science though, just massive piles of overpriced Star Wars(TM) merchandise. The niblings spent more time in the giftshop... though they did have a really cool model of the Millenium Falcon, but for $18???

I think they need better fungineers at Scienceworks.

have you been shopping at BigW lately? obviously not! $18 sounds cheap to me compared to what you'd pay for the Lego version of the Millenium Falcon.

you should have bought it. i bet it would have looked great on your bedside table.

did you take pics?

No Ms. Projectivist. It was $18 just to look at the bloody thing, though they did have other stuff to look at too, like some original costumes and other props and models from the movies.

Thanks Ribbon (you who is older than I). I just checked it out and it's quite a list.

I shall return the favour, on my not so impressive sidebar list.

I hear ya, Mr MATP. We endured the long lines of nerds during the Lizzie's birthday weekend - http://blurbfromtheburbs.blogspot.com/2009/06/lizzies-long-weekend-despite-pommy.html

...and only spent our money in the contemptible canteen!

yeah, I thought $18 was a bargain for a model MF,too, but gotcha now, it was $18 buckaroos to get in. That is a bit steep, as they say.
