...theory

There are two types of folk in the world (or perhaps it better suits the the country/culture)...

...People that would have their dogs inside, or keep their dogs outside.

What say you?

Dogs inside. Children outside.

Dogs inside. They're family and live to love their family. Milly's sleeping in her beanbag in front of the telly right now...

...I get a good deal out of it too, because there's nothing nicer than being able to pat her coat or ruffle her ears in the evenings.

Thumpa Wumpa Thumpa (that's her tail wagging)

I say dogs inside - to a certain point.

Dogs snuggled down at your feet while you watch telly in the lounge room - sweet.

No dogs in bedrooms or kitchens though.

I agree they are family and should be treated with love; lots of pats & cuddles, but they do walk & sniff around in some dubious places that I'd rather not have contact with.

There is a third group of people - more a sub-group probably.

Those who can't possibly leave home without their pooch - so bring it with them when visiting and ignore the pooch-inside rules when they do.

Arrrrghhhh to them!
