Anyone who hasn't seen Screamin' Jay Hawkins peform, I urge you to watch this video (or at least the last minute of it). The man is quite the... unique individual.

Screamin Jay was a classic. I have a vague memory of seeing him live in the 80's playing with a mechanical severed hand on the top of the piano. I'm not 100% sure if I dreamed it, saw it on telly or I was actually there (the 80's are a bit of a blur for me) or maybe 'he put a spell on you...because you're miiiiiiiiiiinnnnnne'.
I've never seen him before in my life, but I like it.
I'm going to learn a musical instrument so I can rip his act off, I do great nonsense noises.
So there's my career sorted then. Easy.
Screaming Jay is a legend! There must be something in the air, I'm planning on uploading him doing Bite It on my blog this week. Got a copy of Eat To The Beat on the weekend with it on....just have to share his amazingness!
